Cakes for a Cause Set to Kick of April 24 – 25

That’s right!

This year’s Cakes for a Cause will be held at the Miami Valley Centre Mall on April 24 & 25. The public is encouraged to attend and check out all the beautiful cakes which will be on on display with the option to ‘bid’ on the cake of their choice.

All proceeds go to The Piqua Community Foundation.

Founded in November 1993, the Piqua Community Foundation began making grants to the community in 1995 with $8000 distributed in the first year. As of June 2007, more than $320,000 has been granted to local organizations which strive to make a difference in the lives of Piqua residents. The Foundation was also responsible for helping to raise over $1.5 million to match a private donation and enable Piqua’s Alexander Stadium to be built.
